Kelly Riley is an award-winning
independent filmmaker; His film Moonshine (2000) won prestigious
awards at national film festivals such as in 2000: IFFM(Best
of Show), New England Film Festival (Best Doc. Short), SXSW
(Runner-up Best Short Doc.), Atlanta Film Fest (Best Doc), and
screened at many others including SlamDance, Florida FF, Nashville
FF, Durango, Knoxville, Picture Start and at the Berklee Museum
of Art. Other credits include: Free TV (2001) premiered at Ann
Arbor FF; Michoacan Reforestation Fund (2002), 10 minute short. |

Sandra Lourenço, producer and photographer moved from her homeland Brazil to NYC in 1997 to study at the International Center for Photography. She has translated over 100 hours of footage and set up interviews for the production with esteemed politicians and Movement revolutionaries. In 2004 Sandra traveled to Africa to document the Makonde people in Mozambique. She was the first Western woman allowed in to their month long female initation ritual to photograph. |

Nicole Jaquis, writer/photographer,
has a degree in Philosophy and Studio Art from Lake Forest College
and has been working with Projectile Arts since 2000. She was
the Associate Producer on their feature length "Take Me
to the River" and continues to document women's initiation rites that occur during the Maha Kumbh
Mela throughout Northern India. In January 2003, she traveled
to southern Brazil to record sound and shoot stills during the
Terra Livre pre-production trip. Since then, she has been developing the project's website,
its PR & marketing materials, and assisting with the funding
process. Currently she is co-running Hook Productions a multimedia program for teens in Red Hook, Brooklyn. |

Tiffany Kearney is an international consultant and professional translator/interpreter between English, Spanish and Portuguese. With both a BA and MA in International Relations, Tiffany has focused on global issues for over ten years ˆ uncovering political and socio-economic trends on the international scene with a particular focus on Latin America and social movements. During pre-production, she set up key interviews with leaders of the MST, activists (including the youngest Brazilian senator, Luciana Genro) and Noam Chomsky. Tiffany has also contributed written work towards the development of the film and assisted with fundraising efforts. Since 2001, Tiffany has been building her own repertoire of projects and clients through her company, Cross Borders Consulting. |
